It is the fourth consecutive year that Hexacta celebrates children’s day with families in vulnerable situations, as part of the Solidarity Projects initiative. The celebration took place in three of the four cities where Hexacta is present.
Buenos Aires, September 2th 2016 . Between dances, games and gifts, more than 150 children from families in social vulnerability conditions from Buenos Aires, Paraná and Bahía Blanca, participated in the celebration of children’s day, organized by Hexacta as part of its initiative ‘Hexacta in the community’.
The meeting, which belongs to the
Solidarity Projects program as a part of its
Corporate Social Responsibility policy
, took place in the dining room of the Santa Lucía church in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires and gathered about 80 children and their families to share a moment of joy with some Hexacta’s volunteers.
A similar event has been done in Paraná at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe’s church, located in El Volcadero neighborhood. In the Bahía Blanca office, another event was supported by the Agrupación Movimiento Por Los Niños as well as the NGOs Solidaridad en Bahía Blanca.
During the celebrations, the children had the opportunity to enjoy some snacks and participate in several activities, dances, and games. At the end of the day, toys and clothes were given to all attending children, most of them donated by Hexacta’s staff. “To make it come true, we summoned our people at Hexacta to contribute to this campaign that seeks to bring joy to the kids on this very special date.
As a result, several employees donated toys, food, money, and time to spend a nice afternoon with children and their families”, said Luis Broeders, Project Manager at Hexacta and the leader of this initiative. It is noteworthy that for every peso donated by the employees, Hexacta doubles its value. The money was intended for the purchase of food, toys and items required by the church´s kitchen.
Some days later, the different Hexacta’s offices also gathered our employee´s children for celebrating this special date. In total, 103 children celebrated their day with music, inflatables, games, magic, and a puppet show.
